Antique Faux Bamboo Chairs with Cane Seats and Backrest

A charming pair of antique faux bamboo chairs, consisting of one side chair and one armchair, featuring beautifully turned wooden frames and a rich, dark brown patina.

Dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, these elegant chairs feature decorative bamboo-style detailing, gracefully curved backrests and traditional woven cane seats. The armchair also features a beautifully woven cane backrest and distinctive turned wooden armrests.

The combination of slender proportions, intricate woodturning and natural cane gives these chairs a wonderful decorative character. Their deep brown finish shows beautiful signs of age and use, adding to their authentic antique charm.

Both chairs retain their woven cane seats, showing some signs of age and wear, as visible in the photographs. The wooden frames display natural surface wear and a lovely aged patina.

An attractive and unusual pair, perfect for a country house, eclectic interior or as decorative accent chairs in a vintage-inspired setting.
