Antique cognac leather club chair with moustache back

Beautiful antique club armchair upholstered in rich cognac brown leather, featuring a distinctive scalloped backrest, broad armrests, decorative brass nailhead trim and dark wooden legs.

The original leather has developed a wonderful patina over the years, giving this armchair its authentic, timeworn character.

The chair shows significant signs of age and use, including heavy surface wear, scratches, discoloration and cracking throughout the leather. The seat cushion has particularly noticeable wear, with areas of leather loss and surface damage. There is also a small tear in the leather on the lower side panel.

Despite these imperfections, this characterful armchair remains a striking statement piece, perfect for a vintage interior, library, office or lounge.
