Michelangelo Buonarroti’s David is one of the most famous sculptures in art history. The monumental statue was created between 1501 and 1504 during the High Renaissance in Florence, where it is now in the Galleria dell’Accademia. The original piece is made of marble, this much smaller statue is made of concrete and both arms are broken of. It has a nice bronze patina. Wear consistent with age and use.
