Hand painted tapestry. A textile fabric decorated with a Baseball player design. This tapestry was made in the Netherlands by Hans Kuypers during the 20th century and was used as a prop in the Film industries at the Dutch media Park in Hilversum. Its a one of a kind and remains in good condition. Wear consistent with age and use.
Nowadays, tapestries like these and other handwork objects are no longer physically produced for the television and film industry. With the current and modern techniques it is possible to visualize objects with projection etc, which is cheaper and less time consuming.
