An English antique mahogany desk chair. Made in the late 19th century by the renowned London furniture maker Cornelius V Smith. This striking chair is a superb example of Smith’s design and craftsmanship and bears his stamp on a rear leg. This antique armchair has elegant curved armrests and a buttoned green leather back rest. The carved legs, formed seat and the original casters, makes this antique armchair an outstanding piece of furniture that would make an important addition to any interior. Makers mark stamped on the rear left leg C.V.S.
