Antique wooden statue from who we believe is Madonna, Mary, the Mother of Christ. Made of chest-nut of walnut wood. Manufactured during the Baroque period in the early 1700s. Typical for this period were the round faces, long thin fingers and the way her robes hangs above the ground. She misses one of the finger tips and the stattue shows mulitple old repairs as shown on picture. Overal this beautifully carved wooden statue remains in very good condition.
